Our second major project was a dedicated kindergarten in the village of Beikala.

Positioned next to the existing primary school, land has been donated.

The building is cement brick, painted with tin roof. There is a toilet and office space for staff. This building has been built by locals again under the management of Jino Pereira. It was officially opened in 2016 and our first teachers were Lala and Mira.

At the same time, we were able to set aside a classroom in our original school building in Boramba for use as a kindergarten. This was made possible because the government built a dedicated high school for students year 7 to year 9 just up the road.
This brings our kindergartens in operation to 2.

The budget came in at $12,000 USD and took again around 18 months to complete.
